Our bodies were meant to move so being at a desk all day in front of a computer will dehydrate us and make us stiff. I suggest to my clients to have a reminder of sort every 30 minutes to stop what you are doing and to close your eyes, take a couple of slow deep breaths and do some stretching to the hands the neck and then get up and walk around the desk, take a glass of water and then sit down at the desk.
If you do this every 30 minutes, all of that will only take 2-3 minutes and your body will be thankful.
