In some cases, it definitely depends on what is causing the tripping issue. Generally what we would do is add a little wedge on shoes for kids with "pigeon toe" to help straighten out their gait so they don't trip, it is very effective. If the issue is systemic or physiological where there is compromised communication between the brain and body then foot orthotics can be very effective in helping with sensory processing.
