“Dear Mr. Porter, When I was faced with the task in January of finding a good 24-7 care service for my uncle, I went to the internet. ‘Living Assistance Services’ came up on the first page and it wasn’t long before I had honed in on your Toronto office.
Your website is quite impressive. I was especially taken with the ‘About Us’ section. That entire page, highlighting your own story, convinced me to have a further look. I immediately called and arranged to meet Heather an hour later. What a wonderful person she is. What a wonderful feeling she generated. All my questions were fully answered, and without investigating anyplace else, I was so convinced that I made the arrangements for care for my uncle on the spot. Mr. Porter, you have developed a wonderful agency and, for this, you deserve acknowledgment for having to create an environment with a happy, courteous and interested staff. Well done! Of course, I will refer people to you as situations arise. I am equally willing to chat with anyone contemplating using your agency but needing reassurance from someone who ‘has been there’. Thank you, sir, and best regards,” - D.A.
“Our family could not have completed this without the support, care, and love from Living Assistance Services. My mother was able to finish her life with dignity and needed care at the hospital. This care could not be provided by me, but it was by your company. We could always count on your team!” - D.B.
“The thoughtfulness, care, compassion, cheerfulness gave to John and me during the all too short time looking after us was incredible. Thank you for such wonderful assistance.” - E.B.
“A special thank you as well to all the wonderful women who helped care for my father and especially Maria… My daughters and I will be forever grateful to you and his caregivers.” - S.M.
Our smaller size also helps us to be very personal in our service and always in touch with our clients as, for example, we are available to respond to our seniors and their families on the telephone at any time, day or night, 24/7. As a result, many of our seniors and their families and their caregivers create close relationships and remain together not for days or weeks but for months and years.
Living Assistance Services would like to introduce your family and you to a wonderful, warm, professional personal caregiver at a very affordable cost to help you participate actively and safely in your day-to-day life.
Our experience has shown that, once we have arranged the best caregiver for your aging loved one, he, or she, will be actually quite relieved, also still feeling importantly little loss of independence; as well, your family’s and your own heightened anxiety and worry about your aging family member will be greatly relieved! And, family members and you will have the time and energy to do what they want with far less anxiety about caring for loved ones.
Arranging for elder home care services starts with a phone call to arrange a free consultation and assessment. It’s the most efficient and reliable way to ascertain your elderly care needs professionally. Then, we select the best caregivers for your senior, based upon his or her needs and specific situation. And, if it’s preferred by the elderly senior and his/her family, Living Assistance Services will introduce to you to up to three caregivers at the beginning so that your loved one and you can choose the one that best suits your own requirements and specific situation. Your own choice, then, becomes the genesis of a much more personal relationship. As a result, many of our seniors and caregivers tend to remain together not for days or weeks but for months and years. During this time, we will be always in touch with you and our caregiver to ensure that everyone is happy.
Our Home Care Services include the following.
We can help with care for Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc.
